With many years in healthcare management, Sharon Litwin and Linda Hoge endured countless occasions

when outside consultants would evaluate operations and make recommendations based on boilerplate

templates. Often these consultants had no experience in the home health or hospice industry, but

relied on standardized formulas.

When we formed 5 Star Consultants in 2003, we were determined to approach each client as unique.

We take into consideration that everyone has a reason for doing things a certain way, and make our

recommendations for improvement based on these reasons. While we do have tools that we have

developed to assist our clients, we customize according to each client’s needs.

While using a “cookie-cutter” approach might save us time and effort, we feel that individual clients’

needs are more important. And that’s why we do what we do.
